Quality control unit

Quality control involves the inspection and testing of products, services or processes for a specified level of quality. The quality control unit of Nab Steel Company in Tabriz has expert and efficient human resources and supervises all production stages to ensure that the product conforms to the requirements and demands of the customers and to prevent the supply of non-conforming products to the customer.

Tabriz Nab Steel Company produces a wide range of corner (100-25 mm), studs (80-7 x 180 mm) and steel beams (140-180 mm) with standard sizes of 6 and 12 meters and based on customer requests.

The products of Nab Steel Company of Tabriz are produced according to the national standards of Iran, numbered 1-13968, 1-4477 and 16348, and have a license to use the mandatory standard mark from the National Standards Organization of Iran.

In order to ensure the compliance of the technical and quality specifications of its products with the requirements set in the national and international standards, the Nab Steel Company of Tabriz has equipped its quality control department and laboratory with the necessary equipment to control the chemical analysis and mechanical properties of the products and by receiving the certificate ISO 17025 from Iran’s national certification organization has given double credit to the validity of the results of this laboratory.

The quality control unit of Nab Steel Company of Tabriz is divided into two parts, product quality control and metallurgical laboratory. In the product quality control department, with the help of skilled and experienced forces, the product is controlled and inspected during production and in several stations based on national standards so that the quality of the product is always within the standard framework and in case of possible production of the product Non-conformance prevents its integration with standard products.

In the metallurgical laboratory department, in order to ensure that the technical and quality specifications of the company’s products meet the requirements related to the standard and satisfy the customers’ expectations as much as possible, the laboratory has been equipped and the following services are included in it:

A- Mechanical properties test including all conventional tests of mechanical properties such as tensile, bending, impact and hardness tests.

B- Material analysis test using chemical analysis by spectrophotometric (quantometric) method.

Considering that the ISO 17025 standard determines the general requirements for the quality and qualification of test and calibration laboratories, the metallurgical laboratory of Folad Nab Tabriz Company has succeeded in obtaining the ISO 17025 certificate from the National Institute of Standard and Industrial Research of Iran (NACI).
