Main equipments of hot rolling line (including stands, gearboxes, electromotors and other electrical and mechanical equipments) and its auxiliaries (such as cranes, cutters, fixed and roller tables, straightening and packing machines, …) are working under hard physical and mechanical conditions including sever mechanical stresses , high temperatures of reheated billet as high as 1200 0 C and polluted environment by iron oxide dust. Under these conditions continuous production without stoppage of production line be show the necessity to a predicted and continuous maintenance plan. The engineers of maintenance in both mechanical and electrical branches try to decrease the production line shutdowns and decreasing the stoppages in previous years confirms the effectiveness of carried out activities in this department. Monthly and annual Analysis of shutdowns is made the bases of plans and correction actions of maintenance management.
